The First Pacific Islands Capacity Building Workshop on Child Online Protection (COP) will be held from 23rd to 24th September 2014 at

The Commonwealth National Cybersecurity Framework Regional Workshop will be held on the 22nd of September 2014. Participants are also welcomed and encouraged to join the meeting on building a child online protection national strategy for Vanuatu on 25th to 26th September 2014.

The regional meeting is being organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in close collaboration with the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO), International Multilateral Partnership against Cyberthreats (IMPACT) and is kindly hosted by the Telecommunications & Radiocommunications Regulator of Vanuatu (TRR) and Office of the Government Chief Information Officer of Vanuatu (OGCIO).

Following the adoption of the Commonwealth Cybergovernance Principles by the ICT Ministers of the Commonwealth on 3- 4 March 2014 in London, the CTO under its 2014-15 Cybersecurity Programme has developed a model National Cybersecurity Framework, which individual countries could adopt according to their individual needs. This workshop will take delegates through that model and provide guidance on how individual countries could adopt the model.
